My wife and I have been avid fishermen in the Michigan waters of the Huron - Erie area of the Great Lakes. Early spring sees us slow trolling in Lake Erie, fishing for pre and post spawn Walleye. Late spring we move up into the Detroit River, to hand line for resident Walleye, and troll crawler harnesses for the Silver Bass run. By early June, we have the Musky opener, and we fish Lake St. Clair. By mid summer, we are Sturgeon fishing in the North Channel of the St. Clair River. Over time, we started to manufacture our own rigs to improve on our fishing experiences. We are proud lifetime members of The St. Clair, Detroit River Sturgeon For Tomorrow group, and we practice catch and release while Sturgeon fishing. If you see us at the boat ramps, stop by to say hello.
